The Rochester Armoury – "bringing the past back to the future" As a shop the Rochester Armoury seeks to compliment the long tradition that exists within the High Street of offering a wide variety of items with a distinct link to the past.
The Rochester Armoury offers a carefully selected variety of master crafted weaponry and armour spanning both history and culture, from superb replicas of historic artefacts, many of which are created to museum quality, indeed some form the basis of exhibits on show at York Museum right up to blades from the present day and far into the deepest realms of the imagination.
The swords and armour on display are made to the highest standards ensuring both quality and authenticity, many of the heritage swords are handmade utilising traditional skills that have changed little over the centuries. The Rochester Armoury well able to cater for the established collector, re-enactor and avid students of history.
We also plan to introduce at the earliest opportunity a comprehensive range of children’s historic items made of wood and other materials based on designs of old, for the budding Celt or Roman Centurion in our midst as well as historic books, shields and much more.
